ABOUT US

The Bullard Kid's park was imagined by the children of Bullard and will be officially named by a competition of students from Bullard ISD and The Brook Hill School.

The total cost of the playground is $315,000 and will be constructed by volunteers during a five-day period of January 16th-20th, 2013 on a 2 acre site owned by the City of Bullard.  The architectural firm Leathers Associates has designed the playground and when completed, the playground will be given to the CIty of Bullard which will assume responsibility for the repair and maintenance.

Supervision of the playground project is under the direction of a community committee with representation from Bullard ISD, The Brook Hill School and numerous Bullard community groups, churches and organizations.

The playground will be handicapped accessible and materials will made from recycled materials.  It will include restrooms, pavillions, and misters.
